    We're looking for a Ground Operations Systems and Training Manager to own the systems that keep our ground operations running - from departure control to weight & balance - and to train the people who use them, both internally and across our contracted service providers.

    This is a full-time office based, permanent position in Riga.

    Your responsibilities will include

    Ground Operations Systems Management Set up, deploy, configure, and test ground operations systems at new airport locations;

    Maintain systems by identifying, recording, and escalating issues to the relevant provider;

    Ensure systems remain correctly configured and business rules stay up to date;

    Manage user access and permissions across all ground operations systems.

    System Implementation, Testing & Support Support IT and external suppliers with testing and implementation of system enhancements;

    Create test flights in GoNow and iPort for product, policy, and procedure training;

    Provide second- and third-line support for check-in, boarding, and disruption management;

    Act as primary liaison for charter operations involving third-party systems or providers.

    Training & Operational Readiness Deliver system training and operational support for internal and external users;

    Develop, maintain, and update training materials and user documentation.

    Projects & Continuous Improvement Represent Ground Operations on IT and business system projects;

    Work with IT teams and external suppliers to identify automation opportunities.

    Compliance & Performance Liaise with regulatory authorities to obtain and maintain certifications, including iAPI, API, and PNRGOV;

    Monitor ground handling agent performance via automated reporting, identifying trends and KPI deviations;

    Travel as required to support operational and business needs.

    Requirements

    Practical experience with departure control systems, particularly Navitaire GoNow;

    Practical experience with weight and balance systems, particularly iPort;

    Knowledge of AHM565 requirements;

    Practical experience in ramp or passenger operations training;

    Strong knowledge of Navitaire application configuration and administration;

    Strong knowledge of the iPort Weight & Balance module;

    Confident user of Microsoft applications;

    Excellent English, spoken and written.
