Senior Solution Lead Are you passionate about driving digital transformation and delivering innovative technology solutions that create real business impact? Join Cathay as a Solution Lead and play a pivotal role in shaping, designing, and delivering technology products that support our business and customer ambitions.

As a Solution Lead, you will act as the bridge between business and technology, working closely with stakeholders, architects, developers, analysts, and external partners to deliver high-quality IT solutions. You will lead the end-to-end solution lifecycle, from identifying business opportunities and defining requirements, through to solution design, implementation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic direction, challenges, and requirements for new initiatives Support pre-project consultation and help shape a portfolio of business and technology initiatives Recommend innovative and commercially viable solutions that improve business performance and efficiency Design and architect technical solutions in collaboration with developers, analysts, and architects Lead the planning, development, implementation, and support of IT products and applications that meet business needs Provide technical guidance and escalation support to Solution Analysts and ensure adherence to IT best practices Drive continuous improvement of applications, processes, and standard IT practices while staying current with technology trends Manage end-to-end project delivery for small to medium-sized initiatives, including planning, execution, testing, and governance approvals Oversee daily development activities and coordinate internal teams and external vendors/third parties as required Contribute to people development and resource planning, including coaching Solution Analysts, managing direct reports, and acting as a Product Owner or business SME when needed

Requirements

Degree qualification in Information Technology related discipline, Masters preferred 8+ years of related IT experience covering but not limited to:

Software development System analysis Business analysis Solution definition System Testing Solid experience in Web Application is a must Client facing experience with successful relationship management is a plus

Experience

in participate in AI projects will be a plus Proven verbal and written communication skill Professional, passionate, innovative, self-motivated and able to present solutions to diverse groups of stakeholders Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity Proven troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideas Airline or travel industry knowledge is highly beneficial Personal & Application Information Cathay Pacific is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
