JOB PROFILE
The Certifying Staff will be responsible to perform aircraft maintenance activities in accord ance with a pplicable
procedures, regulations and Requirements including the following
- Issue Certificate of Release to Service on Air Mauritius aircraft as well as customers' aircraft.
- Work on shift system and may be required to work at outstations.
- Be responsible to supervise the work performed by technicians and assistants and ensure required standards are
met.
- Work in an effective manner and contribute to maintain the dispatch reliability to acceptable level.
- Provide guidance and on the job training to trainees, assistants and technicians, among others.
PREREQUISITES
Holder of a valid EASA or MCAR Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, in the category B1 and/or B2.
Plus A valid Aircraft Type Authorisation Document issued by a Maintenance O rganisation approved by the Maurit ius Department of Civil Aviation or a EASA Part 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation, as certifying staff in the Category B1 and/or B2 , with at least one aircraft type from the follo wing: ATR72-500/600, A330 (Trent700/Trent7000), A350, A320/321, B777.
OTHER Requirements
- Must be fully familiar with the Mauritius Civil Aviation Regulations and / or EASA PART 145 Requirements
- Have strong analytical, critical thinking, organisational, planning and problem-solving skills
- Be proactive, result-oriented and have a proven track-record of delivery against targets
- Have the ability and w illingness to work both in the hangar and the ramp, within tight deadlines and odd hours
including week-ends and public holidays
- Be health and safety conscious
- Be a team player with good integrity, interpersonal and communication skills
- Be dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic
